Dear Doctor: Hello my name is A Uma Mahesh , i am 18 years old and my height is 138 cm.

Severe short stature noticed since early childhood and i was born to consanguineous parents at term weighing 2.5 kg my development was normal and there were no major chilhood illnesses.

I am suffering by GH deficiency and in August 2013 doctor recommended GH therapy and prescribed injection genotropin daily at night .

This treatment was continued for 2 years and my heaight increased by 24 cm

Before treatment i am of 112cm and after treatment it was 136 cm

When i visited to doctor she said to continue same medicide for 1 more year but my parents were not able to continue the Medicne becouse its too expencive and they stoped the treatment in august 2015

And again i am probably stop growing .

So i want to ask that, is there any alternative Medicne to get recover from GH Deficiency?
