Dear Doctor: Hii, My mother mrs. Varsha tripathi is suffering from brain tumor her age is 45 years, nearly few weeks back she started geting extreem headache we took her for MRI and the report says, According to MRI report
OBSERVATIONS
* On left side the occipitoparietotemporal region shows irregular oedmea. The splenium of collosum and left occipitoparietal subcortex shows a vague irregularly defined lesion showing an eccentrically placed cystic area . The lesion causes attenuation with anterior displacement of occipital horn. After IV contrast a part of this lesion show uptake.
* T2 gradient images show no signalvoid suggesting bleed within.
* DWI shows restriction is callosal component.
* The MR venogram shows thinning of left transverse sinus due to external compression.
* Midline is deviated to right side.
* Subtentorium is normal.
IMPRESSION
* Left cerebral astrocytic SOL with oedema in occipitoparietal callosal region with mass effect as described above.
* Kindly correlate clinically
