ITP

Dear Doctor: Sir,
My 61/2 year old daughter is suffering from ITP. She had a viral fever 2 months back and after that her platelet count reduced upto 8000. After giving IvIg, her count increased to 170000. But after two week it again reduced to 17000. Then she took steroids (deemax 16mg) for two weeks... there was an increase during that time. After 02 weeks count again dropped . Now for the last one month, she is taking steroids (Wysolone 20mg). Now count is 5000. Dr advised us to wait for one more week

We are worried. please advice?
