Master Adhi - Treatment Enquiry

Dear Doctor: Myself Aneesh and I am staying in Delhi with my wife and 1 year 4 month old son Adhi.

This is regarding a treatment inquiry for my son Adhi.

I am giving you a brief of the case.

Name : Adhi
DOB : 17th August 2015
Birth : Normal Cesarean. No complications. Cried immediately after birth

Were found developmental delays with him as he was not yet started to sit and walk. We have consulted with the doctors and have done the below tests also with Ganga Ram Hospital & AIIMS

1. CPK test
2. MRI
3. EMG
4. Muscle Biopsy
5. Anti TTG


Based on the findings of the reports, they are still not confirm , but its might be "Infantile polymyositis" or celiac disease associated myopathy. they are suggesting to give steroids medicines as there is no other treatment available in Allopathy.

The Child looks very normal (but little slim) and active in all other activities.

He can sit without support if we make him in to sitting position and he can walk with the baby walker.

Kindly let me know if you can provide any possible treatments so that I can make a decision for not to proceed with the steroids.
