My nephew has ADHD that is severely impa

Dear Doctor: My nephew has ADHD that is severely impacting his grades at school. He used to be on Adderoll, which his mom took him off of in hopes of something alternative. The only other known medical issue is that he has asthma. I researched about holistic alternatives which listed some herbal supplements such and Ginko, Gingseng, and Bacopa. So, I have three questions: 1. Will these herbs affect someone with asthma (he only uses an inhaler when needed)? 2. Is there a tea or all-in-one vitamin that he could take on a daily basis? Because of a bout of diarrhea, the pediatrician recommends a daily probiotic; will the herbs counter act the effect? In essence, I am asking if herbal use will affect someone with asthma and with the use of a probiotic. Thank you.
