Dear Patient: *Do's and Don'ts in Epilepsy*
• Avoid fast food, junk food, and spicy food.
• Avoid strong fragrances. It is a trigger factor.
• Avoid height, water and fire closeness may create mental instability. It may trigger epilepsy.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol intake
• Do regular yoga, pranayama and meditation.
 Brihat Vata Kulantaka Rasa – This compound preparation should be mixed with honey and given three times daily.
Other compound preprations are: Sarpagandha vati, Svarna bhasma, Svarnamakshika bhasma, Vaatakulantaka rasa, Yogendra rasa
Single herbs like these are also helpful: BRAHMI, VACHA, MANDUKPARNI, JYOTISHMATI. ASHVAGANDHA. SHANKHAPUSHPI, One tea spoon full of herbal juice should be taken three times daily.

Yoga Treatment For Epilepsy
There is evidence that yoga can be very useful to the people with epilepsy. The yoga as a treatment for epilepsy is to aim the body to improve the internal balance. When yoga is practiced in addition to other Ayurveda treatment for epilepsy it can help to reduce the severity or frequency of seizures that a person can experience.
It is always advised to consult Neuro physician and follow his advise apart from taking Ayurveda treatment. only one or two tablets can prevent epileptic fits.
