Dear Doctor: Sir my son suffering from depression since 2 years alopathy treatment given him even ICT means electric shocks 6 times also given at GMCH Nagpur. His age is 18 years , student of Bsc at Shivaji Science College Nagpur, please advise me.?

Dear Patient: Hi,

Manasamitra Vatakam is a tablet, used in Ayurvedic treatment of psychiatric conditions, to improve intelligence, speech problems.

Dosage: One tablet once a day initially then increase the dose to twice a day after food. It is traditionally given along with milk or Warm cow’s milk. You can use as per the availability of Brahmi gritham or Mahakalyanaka gritham or Saraswatha gritham.

Manufacturers of Manasamitra Vatakam is Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakkal. Also advised to do Pranayama and Dhyan (Yoga therapy).
