Method:

Blitz apricot in a blender to make a coarse powder. To this powder add honey and mix thoroughly to make a paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it on for 10 mins.


After 10 mins, gently start scrubbing the paste on your face in a circle. Scrub for at least 20 minutes. Once done, wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry. You can use this scrub twice or thrice a week to remove hair effectively.


Tea Tree Oil and lavender pack:

Many women suffer from hirsutism, which is excess hair mostly on the chest and the chin. This excess hair growth is often a result of excess androgen in the body. Applying a mix of tea tree oil and lavender essential oil helps to cure mild hirsutism in women. This same mix can also be applied on your face as both lavender and tea tree oil has anti-androgenic properties.


For the pack:

Ingredients: 1 tsp lavender oil and 6 drops of tea-tree oil.

Method: Mix both the essential oils together and use a cotton ball to apply it on the face. Leave it on for some time and then wash it off with water. Do this twice or thrice a day for at least 90 days to get rid of facial hair completely.


Orange & Lemon Face Mask:

Orange and lemon are quite popular ingredients in many beauty treatments as they have a very high concentration of vitamin C. Not only this, their peels are excellent exfoliators and are often used in well-known cosmetic products. The peels also give the skin a toned look while helping to get rid of unwanted facial hair.


Face mask:

Ingredients: 5-6 tsp orange peel, 5-6 pieces lemon peels, 1 tsp oatmeal, 2 tsp olive oil and 1 tsp rose water and 1 tsp almond powder

Method: Blend together orange peels, lemon peels and oatmeal to make a fine powder. In a bowl mix almond powder and the peels together, add olive oil and rose water to it. Mix to make a fine paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it on for 8-10 minutes. After 10 minutes, gently scrub the paste in a circular motion with your fingertips. Continue to scrub for 5 minutes and then wash it off with plain water. Use this mask twice or thrice a week to get the best results.


Fenugreek (Methi) and Green Gram (Hara chana) pack:

Methi and green gram are easily available in most Indian households. Fenugreek or methi is a very effective medicinal herb that has been used as a treatment for many women-related health issues. It also helps to get rid of excess hair in case of hirsutism. For better health results soak a few methi seeds in a glass of water overnight and then drink it first thing in the morning.


For the mask:

Ingredients: 2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 2 tsp green gram, and water

Method: Grind the methi seeds and gram together to a fine powder. In a bowl take the powder and add enough water to make a thick paste. Apply this paste on your face and leave it to dry. Once dry, take a soft dry cloth and rub off the paste from your face to get rid of excess hair.


Oat face scrub:

Oats are quite grainy and it makes for an amazing exfoliator for facial hair. There are many scrubs that have oats as one of the main ingredients sold commercially, which may not suit skin that is sensitive. Anti-oxidants present in oats helps to protect skin from ultra-violet rays and to get rid of redness caused due to sun exposure. Using oats along with other ingredients like lemon juice and honey acts as a natural scrub to remove excess hair making the skin smooth and hydrated. Lemon helps to reduce and bleach hair while honey acts as a moisturizer.

Ingredients: 1tsp oats powder, 1tbsp honey, and 1 tsp lemon juice

After 20 minutes, use your fingertips to scrub the paste in a circular motion, especially where you have more hair. Rub your skin against the direction of hair growth on the face.
